I’m glad things seem to have worked out. Sorry we didn’t have more chairs or a PA, those have long been on my wish list. We literally just got the space back into use last Friday. The Cultural Olympiad rented it for a gallery which perhaps wasn’t our best decision ever.
The space is available for events and coworking and hopefully it eventually makes money or at least comes closer to covering costs.
The bandwidth from Shaw must have held up OK, we have a separate feed just for downstairs, so if there is two coworkers they have half the bandwidth each, and if there are 75 people, well that is getting close to capacity.
Lighter more maneuverable desks were in my original plan, but those desks were free from Vancity.
Glad it worked out, we’re hosting Net Tuesday, the first Tuesday in April.
